Through my journey, I’ve been overweight, and I’ve been underweight. I’ve been on both sides of the spectrum so you can almost guarantee I’ve been in the exact position you are in today. I’ve struggled with body dysmorphia, bad eating habits, and over-training. There was also a time in my life where exercise was minimal, I overindulged in the wrong things and under-indulged in the right. As a teenager, my energy levels were low and my food choices were poor. I didn’t like the way I felt, nor the way I looked. I needed to make a change, I just didn’t know how.
I began exercising. I didn’t know what I was doing, I was unfit and that alone was a demotivator to me. Although uncomfortable, I was determined to change my life around. Slowly but surely through trial an error, I began to notice small little shifts in my body, moods and energy levels. Exercise became my therapy. Where I felt better when I walked out then when I had walked in. With hard work, consistency and the right guidance, I lost 10kg of weight over a 6 month period and started to understand the true benefits of training and clean eating.
12 shows later, and I am now a WBFF International Professional Athlete and a Master Trainer. Competing and training as taught me more than I could ever imagine. It has taught me the value of hard work, discipline, given me confidence and an energy for life I never knew was capable of.
I found a level of love and respect for my body that keeps me motivated to work-out and move every single day. So now it has become my mission to coach you to do the same. To challenge you and help you achieve the body and life you have always wanted.
